Jeff is a principal and Chief Compliance Officer of the firm and he advises individuals, families, and charitable organizations on all aspects of the wealth management process.

Jeff has earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in finance and management, and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, as well as the Michigan Life and Health Insurance license.

Jeff is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA West Michigan Society, and the Financial Planning Association (FPA) where he sits on the board of directors for the FPA of Michigan. He serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Financial Planning and has served as a subject matter expert assisting in development of the CFP®certification exam and as a member of the CAIA Exam Working Group assisting in the development of the CAIA exam. Jeff has been quoted in numerous financial publications including Consumers Digest, Bankrate.com, and the Wall Street Journal and many other publications.
